Wide-band, all mode recievr capability
The IC-R10 has wide frequency coverage from 0.5 MHz to 1300 MHz with
all mode (include CW) receive capability
Real-time
The IC-R-10 has a real-time bandscope function making it easy to find
busy frequencies and also easy to observe the receiving frequency band
conditions. The passband witdth of the bandscope is selectable from
the range of+/- 100 kHz (20kHz channel spacing) and +/- 25kHz (5kHz
channel spacing) |
VSC function
Icom's original VSC (Voice Scan Control) function pauses scan only
when modulated signals are received. And the VSC function activivates
an AF mute switch when unmodulated or beat signals are recieved.
Bank and memory name functions
The IC-R10 has an ample 1000 memory channels with 8-character alphanumric
names for convenience. And, channels can be gruoped into banks, with
each bank capable of holding a 10-character name. For protection from
data loss, EEPROM's are used for memory backup.
New SIGNAVI
Scan types include programmed. memory, bank, mode and more. And.
introducing the new SIGNAVI scan. The SIGNAVI scan activates with programmed,
auto memory write and full scans in FM mode. This scan bypasses or skips
clear frequencies, withing +/- 100 kHz from a paused frequency, to the
next busy frequency. This helps speed up scanning.
