Full dot-matrix LCD
Using a large full dot-matrix LCD (32 x 18 mm), the IC-F3062T shows upper and lower case characters clearly. The display setting is selectable from 1 line, 12 characters or 2 lines 24 characters via programming. While status icons are on the top side of the display, the bottom side shows assigned functions to the [P0] to [P3] buttons.

Same Lithium-Ion battery pack as F34G and F15 series
Li-Ion technology has virtually no memory charging issues. A rugged dual-rail guide securely locks the battery to the radio. The supplied 2000mAh large Li-Ion battery pack, BP-232, provides 15 hours* of operating time.

Voice scrambler function
The IC-F3062T has a built-in inversion type voice scrambler as standard. By installing an optional voice scrambler unit, UT-109R or UT-110R, more secure communication is possible.

BTL amplifier
The IC-F3062T series employs a BTL amplifier that doubles the audio output. As a result, it delivers loud and clear sound.

512 memory channels and rotary channel knob
The IC-F3062T has a maximum 512 programmable channels with 128 zones. With a simple rotation of the rotary channel knob, memory channel selection can be made easily.

Wide frequency coverage
The IC-F3062T covers a wide frequency range with one version.

The IC-F3062T gets its sturdy construction in part from our latest F70 series design. As always, user friendly operation is paramount, and the large size 10-key buttons have ample button-pitch to allow blind touch operation.

Most popular signalings built-in
The IC-F3062T has 2-Tone, 5-Tone, CTCSS and DTCS signaling capabilities as standard for group communication or selective calling. The IC-F3062T can decode ten 2-Tone codes or eight 5-Tone codes on a channel. When a matched tone is received, many actions are programmable for each code such as beep sounds, bell icons, answer back calls, Auto TX, stun/kill radio, scans and so on. Also, 40 pairs of CTCSS/DTCS memory channels are available.

Scan features
The IC-F3062T series has 10 scanning modes. The Voting mode scanning detects the S-meter level of repeater stations and automatically selects the strongest station. Priority scan and double priority scanning is also available.

6.25kHz digital mode ready
A first in the LMR market. With the optional UT-119H, the IC-F3062T provides 6.25kHz digital narrow mode communication which the meets the FCC 6.25kHz emission mask requirements for narrow banding. It increases efficiency of channel allocation and use of spectrum.
The IC-F3062T has one optional slot for the digital unit and one for other optional units. So a two option units combination, such as voice scrambler and digital unit, is possible.
