Icom proudly announces the debut of the new commercial mobile transceiver, the IC-F110S and IC-F210S series. This series follows on from the highly successful IC-F310S series, and is the ideal complementary unit of the IC-F11/S handheld series, too. The IC-F110S and F210S series provides serious professional features such as ultra tough construction, multiple signaling functions as standard and wide frequency coverage. Higher output versions (VHF 50W / UHF 45W) add a further dimension to complete this range of cost effective LMR mobiles that will suit a wide range of users from commercial to Public Safety markets.

FEATURES

Simple operation
Simple is best, simple means efficiency. 4 large programmable buttons with LED indicators maximises use of all functions. An independent volume knob adds to the allround ergonomic design based on simplicity.

Front mounted speaker
The IC-F110S series front-mounted speaker is facing the operator, so that the audio is crisp and clear in all environments, quiet and noisy alike.

Multiple signaling functions
2-tone, 5-tone, CTCSS, DTCS encoder and decoder are built-in to satisfy most market requirements for signaling. A DTMF encoder allows up to 24-digit DTMF autodialing. And when an optional UT-108 is installed, DTMF decoder and ANI functions are also available.

High power versions
Higher power versions, IC-F111S/F121S (VHF 50W) and IC-F211S/F221S (UHF 45W), are available for reliable long distance communications. With these versions, the IC-F110S/F210S series is complete as the ideal cost effective commercial mobile answer to your communication needs.

Hook Scan on/off button is programmable
Hook scan is the function when the hand microphone is put on the hanger, the transceiver automatically starts scanning. The hook scan on/off button allows you to temporary start and stop this function on the spot. In addition, LED indicates the hook scan on/off setting, according to the cloning.

Compact dimensions and durable construction
Icom's superior technological expertise results in the ICF110S/ F210S series being far improved in performance and value, despite its reduction in physical size. The diecast chassis becomes lighter, but does not compromise on the durability and reliability Icom is famous for. That is why this series is MIL-spec grade strong enough to withstand almost all operating environments, as well as installation into vehicles that ride over even the roughest terrain.

Optional voice scrambler
With the optional voice scrambler units, UT-109 or UT-110, installed, added communication security is obtained.
