Simple,

Unlike amateur equipment and business band radios LPD's require no user-license
or application. Designed from the out-set for easy of use there are an absolute
minimum of switches with easy to understand labels, making operation easy for
beginers. The large easy-to-ready LCD shows operating information at a glance
with status icons such as "low battery, "timer" and "function
lock" easily recognizable. And for low light conditions there is an auto
backlight function.
Automatic transporder function
This convenient function automatically checks station availability with the
operationg range and alerts you via function display indication.
Smart-Ring function
Smart-Ring is used in GROUP MODE operation to check for availability of station
in a special group within the operating range. when stations are available,
the transceivers alerts you audibly.
Call-Ring Function
Call-Ring is used to manually send a ring tone when calling another party-similar
to using a callular phone. Ten different ring types can be selected from
